Senior Software Engineer CA
Excellent server-side Java programming skills including working knowledge of core libraries, multi-threading, network programming
Strong technical skills: J2SE, C/C , Ant, JUnit, Eclipse IDE, and CVS
Working knowledge of i5/OS operations – job submission, subsystems, job queues, spool files/output queues, security. Understanding of the PASE environment, knowledge of IFS, understanding of the system APIs, specifically work and object management. Programming experience with CL and JTOpen is preferable.
Unix systems programming and GCC/gmake skills
Experience with Tandem and OpenVMS systems would be considered an asset.
Experience in high-throughput software design techniques and strategies; multi-processing and multi-threading application design and extensive experience in object-oriented design, design patterns
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to be a team player and strive in a team environment.
Job Description
As Senior Software Engineer, you will report to the Manager, Software Engineering. Your primary responsibilities will be to maintain software product. You will be part of a dynamic engineering organization that strives to deliver top quality products to make our customers satisfied. The position will require working closely with our product managers, development managers, pre-sales, support, and the field consulting.
